Roundtable in Indonesia

WSMI Director-General Dr David Webber visited Indonesia where he presented on the important topic of prescription to nonprescription switch to an audience of 70 country regulators and industry representatives. Switching more products to nonprescription status gives people more tools to take better care of themselves through self-care, and enhances their motivation to do so. Dr Webber also delivered a 50-minute speech on the regulations of “Medicines, food supplements, food and herbals in Europe and the USA”. Positive and extended discussions took place in a cordial atmosphere and the copy of AESGP’s “Regulatory Framework for Food Supplements in Europe” was much appreciated and found very helpful.
