WSMI supports Government-Industry Discussion Forum in Beijing

WSMI was pleased to provide support to a Government-Industry Discussion Forum just before the start of the Olympic Games, in Beijing China. WSMI's contribution was in describing how self-care and self-medication can contribute fundamentally to social harmony in China. A further presentation was on the important subject of the switching of medicines from prescription-only, to self-care availability. With local partners CNMA, WSMI DG Dr David Webber also met with SFDA officials and contributed to a press conference on the forthcoming WSMI-FIP-CNMA Symposia in Beijing in November 2008, within the WHO Congress on Traditional Medicines. |
