WSMI members provide support to earthquake victims in Sichuan, China

WSMI member associations and companies in the self-medication sector have coordinated efforts to provide support to people affected by the disaster in Sichuan. Donations of funds, OTC medicines and medical aid such as physician travel packs have been sent to the disaster area through different partner organizations including the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. CNMA, the Chinese self-medication association has coordinated the emergency relief efforts of member companies and warm thanks have been expressed by ZHANG Heyong, President of CNMA, Bai Huiliang, Executive Vice-President, and Wang Wei, Secretary-General, to all donors. |
