WSMI supports the Medicines Labeling Group activities

The WSMI Board has recently given approval for financial support to the Medicines Labeling Group for its project on improving labeling of medicines. To address this issue the Medicines Labeling Group aimed at developing generalized principles for writing usable medicines information and engaging in discussion with different interested parties (industry, regulators, health professionals, and consumers).

Today, the Medicines Labeling Group is pleased about the achievements of most of its set objectives. Concrete expressions of this success are the participation in forums organized by industry associations, consumer groups, and health professionals; the commissioning and publishing of a comprehensive literature review on medicines information and the development of various actions of influence towards key interested sectors.
