1st Pharmaceutical, Regulatory and Quality Forum, Tehran Iran

On October 21 & 22 2007 the 1st Pharmaceutical, Regulatory and Quality Forum was held in Tehran Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran is the 18th largest country in the world by area, and has a population of over 70 million; the semi-developed economy offers great potential for the improved use of medicines. The conference was jointly organised by the Iranian Ministry of Health and the pharmaceutical industry and over 100 delegates participated in the discussion of a broad series of topics relating to the quality, safety and efficacy of medicines.
