Counterfeit products – WHO IMPACT

WSMI was pleased to attend and support the first general meeting of the World Health Organisation IMPACT (International Medicinal Products Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force), which took place on 15-16 November in Bonn Germany. The meeting was opened by the Secretary of State at the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr Schroeder, and Dr Zucker, WHO Assistant Director-General, presented an overview of IMPACT, of ongoing regional/local initiatives, and plans for the work of the Working Groups. Going forwards WSMI is specifically supporting the Working Groups on Technology, Communications, and Legislation.
