KPMA-WSMI Seminar

At the invitation of the Korean Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (KPMA), WSMI organised a seminar in Seoul Korea on 12 May 2005, with the theme 'Global Trends in Self-Medication and Switching in the US and Europe.' Korea is is a unique situation with respect to nonprescription medicines and has faced some substantial challenges as regulations and the market have changed over the last few years. The opportunity to share experiences and see what is happening around the world was the focus of the meeting. The seminar was well attended by the Korean pharmaceutical industry and by representatives of the Korean Pharmacists Association. Speakers included Dr Kim (President of KPMA), Dr Webber (WSMI Director-General), Mr Spangler (Vice President CHPA) and Dr Yu (WSMI VP for Asia Pacific Region). |
