20th Anniversary for JSMI

WSMI is pleased to congratulate our Japanese Member Association JSMI on reaching the milestone of 20 years in existence. Japan Self-Medication Industry (JSMI) was founded by some 80 manufacturers of proprietary pharmaceutical products in Japan in 1985. It has been working to promote Self-Medication in Japan with related organizations in Japan, and in the world, since its foundation. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, JSMI is organizing an international forum to exchange experiences and principles of responsible self-medication with nonprescription drugs and related healthcare products. The forum is entitled “Self-Medication Frameworks in the world – How we learn from each other”. Experts in regulatory/administration systems from Europe, United States and Japan are invited as the speakers. The conference will be held in Tokyo on May 10. |
