WSMI supports Vietnamese Association

At the invitation of the Vietnamese Pharmaceutical Association (VNPCA), WSMI Director-General David Webber attended the Second VNPCA Congress in Hanoi on April 16 2004. Official welcoming presentations to the delegates were made by Vietnamese Minister of Health Madame Tran Thi Trung Chien, Dr Vu Tien Loc MP, Chairman and President, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Assoc. Prof. Le Van Truyen, Chairman VNPCA, Pharmacist Nguyen Trong De, Vice-Chairman VNPCA, Wolfgang Dolejschka, Country Manager B. During the conference Dr Webber made keynote presentations on topics requested by VNPCA - "Global trends in self-medication" and "Pricing of OTC medicines - a discussion". On a separate occasion Dr Webber also visited the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility of local Vietnamese company Traphaco.
