8th WSMI Asia-Pacific Regional Conference
November 2010
“The Changing Landscape of Self-Medication” was the theme of the the 8th WSMI Asia-Pacific Regional Conference co-organised by WSMI and the Taiwanese association TPMMA which took place in Chinese Taipei between 5 and 8 November 2010. It was held in the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) in parallel with the 23rd Congress of the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA). With a strong business programme designed to address the challenges and opportunities in Taiwan and in the Asia-Pacific Region, an outstanding panel of speakers from industry, government authorities and academia, a well-attended regulatory affairs exchange and, last but not least, the launch of a WSMI Asia-Pacific Regional Association (see separate news item), the conference was deemed a great success by all participants.
